Some Club Testimonials
“There are people in our community who have been affected by the changes in our economy, resulting in a loss of confidence; Toastmasters is a great place to keep your edge, while improving speaking and leadership skills,” said Suzanne Halpin, Club President. “Our club is known for having a warm and friendly atmosphere that is conducive to personal growth.”
When asked about her fourteen-year involvement with the club, Dorothy Mann states:
“Toastmasters has helped me tremendously with learning to be more diplomatic in my personal life, and helped me gain self confidence when speaking in front of a group. It is one of the most enjoyable things I have ever done. I am always amazed at how clever and innovative some speakers are. I always feel I get so much more than I am able to give. I also wonder how it might have made a difference in my life, had I started early in my career.” |
