As the new Toastmasters’ year begins, I am excited about the upcoming educational and leadership opportunities that will be available to every member of District 5.

Each member will have the opportunity to complete an educational award. What are you waiting for? Challenge yourself to reach that next goal – finish that manual! Grab the bull by the horns and give that next speech!
Each member will have the opportunity to fulfill a leadership role. Serve your club as a Club Officer! Go one step further and serve the District as an Area Governor! (I know your inner leader is calling to you to go forth and lead.)
Short in time but you still want to serve? You have come to the right place! District 5 is always looking for volunteers to help with various events throughout the year, such as Speech Contests and the District Conference. Contact any District Officer for volunteer opportunities.
Need to complete that ACG? Contact David, Bryan, or me for information on various opportunities complete the Leadership or Communication program.
Need to complete that ALS? Contact David, Bryan, or me for information on various ideas for completing the High Performance Leadership (HPL) program, the club mentor/sponsor/coach role, or the District leadership role.
The time is now to Stand and Deliver! Do it for yourself! Do it for your Club! Do it for your District! Do it because it is FUN!
