District 5 is excited to announce that we have launched a new membership drive!
This membership drive is called "Take Time for Toastmasters" and is unique from the Toastmasters International membership drives which you may be familiar with (Smedley, Talk Up Toastmasters, and Beat the Clock).
The Specifics...
When: The "Take Time for Toastmasters" membership drive starts on February 1 and ends on March 31.
What: If your club adds 5 or more new members or re-instated members during the months of February and March, your club will receive a Toastmasters stopwatch.
Bonus: For each new member or re-instated member that joins your club in February and March, your club will receive one ticket for the drawing for Toastmasters Timing Lights!!! The drawing will take place at the District 5 Conference on May 22.
A Few Caveats...
In order for a new or re-instated member to qualify, their membership must start in February or March. Therefore, if you add a new member in late March with an effective membership of April 1, their membership will not count towards the stopwatch or for the Timing Lights.
Please remember to pay your club dues before April 1.
